3D Development Progress

  • Completed the final texturing phase of the aft overhead panel, incorporating authentic wear patterns and material responses

  • Initiated modeling work on the control stand, focusing on precise geometric accuracy and mechanical detail

  • Implemented new custom shaders for enhanced instrument displays, significantly improving visual fidelity

Flight Systems Development

Ongoing refinement of engine performance characteristics and aerodynamic modeling.

Fine-tuning of landing gear dampening systems to achieve realistic ground handling behavior.

Electronic Flight Bag (EFB)

We've reached an exciting milestone with our EFB development, leveraging X-Plane's new Web API capabilities.

The main design template has been successfully implemented, establishing the foundation for our planned feature set.

While content integration is still in its early stages, this framework will enable us to deliver a highly integrated and functional EFB experience. Very early development of the primary flight displays is also advancing.

Looking Ahead

As we move into more complex development phases, we'll be adjusting our update schedule to ensure our team can maintain maximum development efficiency.

While our commitment to transparency remains unchanged, our next detailed progress update may take a bit longer than usual. This approach will allow us to focus our resources on critical development tasks while ensuring that when we do share updates, they contain substantial progress to report.

We deeply appreciate your understanding and continued support as we work to deliver the most authentic 737 MAX simulation possible.

Clear skies,
Juraj, Airfoillabs
